As founder and head of EverWondr, Amy launched the first-of-its-kind, regional tourism marketing platform exclusively for destination marketers, establishing a proven, replicable model for economic development powered entirely by social networking. By linking rural and urban communities through shared access to local events, the EverWondr Network helped communities within seven states become more competitive, socially relevant, and economically vibrant.
At its height, the EverWondr Network was supported by more than 400 individual Chambers of Commerce, Convention and Visitors Bureaus, Arts Councils, Economic Development Authorities and private and public university partners.
Amy’s experience in economic development work includes long-term strategic and creative relationships with North Carolina Tourism, Vermont Tourism, regional and multi-state host groups, and dozens of CVBs throughout North Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee. Notably, her rebranding initiative with Visit Winston-Salem resulted in a $134 million increase in tourism revenue within the first 5 years of the campaign.
